“RRR” Continues to Cast Its Spell Before Oscars 2023, Winning 16 Major Awards

Director S.S. Rajamouli’s film “RRR” has added another award to its name. Its song “Natu Natu” won the Best Original Song award at the 95th Academy Awards. Prior to this, “RRR” has already won 16 major awards.

“RRR” Sweeps 16 Major Awards Before Oscars 2023

The highly anticipated Indian film “RRR,” directed by S.S. Rajamouli, has been making waves in the film industry even before the 2023 Oscars. The movie has already won 16 major awards and has cemented its place as a cinematic masterpiece.

At the New York Film Critics Circle Awards, Director Rajamouli was named Best Director, while the film was selected as one of the Top 10 Films of the year at the 2022 Atlanta Film Critics Circle Awards. The film’s stunt coordinator, Nick Powell, was named Best Stunt Coordinator at the Austin Film Critics Association Awards, and the song “Natu Natu” won M.M. Keeravani the Best Original Score award at the Boston Society of Film Critics Awards.

With such critical acclaim, “RRR” is sure to be a major contender at the 2023 Oscars, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release. The film stars N.T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, and tells the story of two freedom fighters who come together to fight against the British Raj.

RRR’s winning 16 Awards are the following:

1. During the 2023 Golden Globe ceremony, “Natu Natu” made history by winning the Best Original Song award.
2. During the 2022 Saturn Awards, “RRR” was chosen as the Best International Film.
3. Director S.S. Rajamouli was chosen as the Best Director at the 2022 New York Film Circle Awards for this film.
4. In 2022, “RRR” was honored with the Spotlight Winner award at the Hollywood Circle Association Awards.
5. At the 2022 National Board of Review Awards ceremony, “RRR” was included in the top 10 films of the year.
6. The Best Non-English Language Film award was given in the Alliance of Women Film Journalists Awards – 2022.

   

7. During the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards – 2022, the film’s music director M.M. Keeravani was awarded Best Music Score for the song ‘Natu Natu’.
8. RRR received the Best Foreign Language Film and Best Song awards for ‘Natu Natu’ during the 28th Critics Choice Awards.
9. RRR won four awards at the Hollywood Critics Association Creative Arts Awards, including Best Original Song for ‘Natu Natu’, Best Stunt, Best Action, and Best International Award.
10. Natu Natu won three awards at the 2022 Philadelphia Film Critics Circle Awards, including Best Foreign Language Film, Best Cinematography, and Best Soundtrack.
11. During the 88th New York Film Critics Circle Awards, the film’s director Rajamouli was chosen as the Best Director.
12. The film was selected as the Best International Feature Film at the 2022 Atlanta Film Critics Circle Awards and was also included in the top 10 films of the year.
13. The film’s stunt coordinator Nick Powell was chosen as the Best Stunt Coordinator during the Austin Film Critics Association Awards ceremony. The film was also selected as one of the top 10 films of 2022 during the ceremony.
14. At the Boston Society of Film Critics Awards 2022, M.M. Keeravani received the award for Best Original Score for the song “Natu Natu” in the film.
15. ‘RRR’ was chosen as the Best Foreign Language Film during the Southeastern Film Critics Association Awards and was also included in the top 10 films of the year.
16. At the Georgia Film Critics Association Awards 2022, ‘RRR’ was awarded as the Best International Film.
