‘Kantara’ to screen at UN Hall in Geneva, a great accomplishment achieved!
‘Kantara’ has achieved a great accomplishment, the screening of the film will be held at the United Nations Hall in Geneva.
This is undoubtedly a great time for South Indian cinema, as the world is paying attention to them and they are being recognized at an international level, which they rightfully deserve. While on one hand, the celebration of RRR’s win for ‘Natu Natu’ at the Oscars had just ended, on the other hand, Rishab Shetty’s Kantara, which has already made headlines around the world, has achieved yet another international recognition. Kantara has successfully been screened in several languages around the world. Now, it is all set to be showcased on March 17th at Pathé Balexyart in Hall No. 13 of the United Nations in Geneva.

In this regard, the author, director, and actor Rishabh Shetty have already arrived in Geneva and completed their oral submission. The Center for Global Affairs and Public Policy tweeted, “Rishabh Shetty will talk about the role of Indian cinema in promoting environment, climate, and conservation in the UNHRC session in Geneva. Director of CGAPP, Anindya Sen Gupta, met with him during the session because the star of Kantara has presented Indian stories on the global stage.”

According to the social media handle of the Center for Global Affairs and Public Policy, actor, director, and writer Rishabh Shetty will speak about the role of Indian cinema in promoting discussions on the environment, climate, and conservation at the UNHRC session in Geneva. During the session, he was also approached by CGAPP director Anindya Sen Gupta because the “Kantara” star has presented Indian stories on a global stage.
Rishabh Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ had released in Kannada and Hindi versions
The Kannada and Hindi versions of “Kantara” were released on September 30th and October 14th, respectively. Rishabh Shetty wrote and directed the film. Produced by Hombale Films and Vijay Kiragandur and Chaaluve Gaurav, the film stars Rishabh Shetty, Saptami Gaur, and Kishore Kumar G. in leading roles.
